Tiger Jel Gold – Summer Blend
Tiger Jel Gold Summer Blend is built off the same formula as our original, with a slight adjustment to keep it more consistent in warmer conditions.
It’s still on the lighter side of tackiness, so it’s easy to work with. It stays where you put it, but doesn’t string everywhere or make a mess when you’re assembling clutch drums, pumps, valve bodies, or seals.
The difference is in how it holds up when the shop heats up — it keeps its feel better and doesn’t soften up as much, so you get the same control from start to finish.
It provides a good protective coating during assembly and helps prevent dry starts on initial startup. Once the transmission gets fluid moving through it, the gel breaks down and dissolves safely into the ATF.
We’ve used a lot of different assembly lubes over the years, and this is the consistency we prefer when building transmissions every day — especially in warmer conditions.
